Without a doubt this has been the most amazing, challenging, invigorating and confronting experience of our lives. W hat had begun as an opportunity to see all the corners of Australia, follow the waterways that are cradled by dry barren desert, luscious rainforests, golden beaches and to embed ourselves in its history and culture, slowly become a story about us as a family. Week Six | Gods Waiting Room.....😇

SNAPSHOT Have you ever heard of a town dubbed "God's Waiting Room?"....evidently it's affectionately used to describe a place whose residents have a bit more life experience than oneself? I've heard this term twice this week! First at Tin Can Bay and then Hervey Bay.....now, at first I was horrified! What an awful description of these gorgeous places ......however upon reflection and witnessing first hand the peaceful, quiet, warm bays, with friendly and very happy people (not a vitamin d deficiency in sight) living in them,  I have come to the realisation that one day, when I find myself ready for "God's Waiting Room" that either of these two beachside beauty's would suit me perfectly fine! WHERE ON EARTH ARE WE? Tin Can Bay After a relatively short drive from Cobb and Co, via Gympie, we arrived in Tin Can Bay on the central Queensland coast. Week 19 | Homeward Bound

SNAPSHOT Reflection: to give  serious thought or consideration. Synonyms: thought, thinking, consideration, contemplation, study, deliberation, pondering, meditation, musing, rumination, cogitation, brooding, agnonizing: This is a fairly accurate definition of our mood this week, with plenty of time for reflection we also spent a fair bit of time “brooding” and “agonizing” for one reason or another. The girls have enjoyed reminiscing and we spent part of our trip actually reading our blogs out loud and got such a giggle out of Leigh’s “jokes”..... We can’t avoid going home and yet we don’t feel “finished”.....in saying that though, I have really noticed how mature the girls have become all of a sudden and know they are desperate for all things “home”.....it’s been really important for Leigh and I not to get down in the dumps and returning! We have purposefully backed away from “doing stuff” this week and tried to make it more like a holiday - this isn’t...
